Faster than and works better than other programs I have tried. I have no pop-ups or problems with it freezing either.
I an not bothered at all by the add in the beginning of each movie for purchased DVD have adds after adds and then some.Cons

I like just popping in the DVD, adding my movies and then burn. All the burned DVDs have worked in both our new LG blue-ray player and older JVC player.

Transition between files is unbearable on DVD. It literally pauses. Don't be fooled the the green ad pop up, thinking that it won't pause once you purchase the pro version.
Summary
I tried the product and it burned to DVD, but it paused between each MTS file while showing the green ad. I assumed that this would not happen once I purchased the pro version. Wrong! It is very irritating trying to watch a DVD that pauses at every file. No smoothing transition is unbearable. Thank you for stealing my money.

There is NOTHING useful about this program compared to other ones I've tried for the very same project. Nothing at all. Give your money to a charity before this company. Or burn it. Either way you'll feel better about it.

Look for another software that will allow you the ease of not having disturbing ads in the middle of your movie.

Pros
Converts AVI videos to DVD format just fine, doesn't seem to take TOO long (an average movie is gonna take you about 1 1/2 hours to convert/burn).
Cons
Settings can be confusing and the program seems to freeze when I don't want to make another copy of the disk.
Summary
Overall, love the program, at least in theory. However, it has a few issues. Number one, it is a bit confusing to change the settings (basic and advanced) - all the settings HAVE a drop-down menu, but there is no arrow or anything to signify this, so you just find out accidentally. Also, once the conversion/burn process is done and it asks you if you want to make another disk, if you tell it no the entire program freezes, forcing you to shut it down and start over. Life goes on, but this is very frustrating. You can, however, make a second copy just fine, but again, once you're done making copies, the program flips out.

It's so easy to use. Of course I can only afford the free version, but it's great compared to some others I've tried.

I wish at least 1 of the DVD templates was available in the free version. I'd love to be able to create covers.
Summary
It's easy to use. An I've actually been able to put 3 'avi' movies on the same disk with no problems (it seems to go by MB/GB then). But when you burn other projects, it goes by total minutes. Overall I'm very impresses and I've tried other free versions. This one is by far the best.

I am very inexperienced at making a DVD. I had no problems setting it up. You just select a few parameters but nothing complicated.

Took 3 and a half hours to burn a DVD which failed to play in my DVD player.

Did not work for me. Basically just wasted 3 hours and a DvDr disk.
