Version: Pro Mp3 Recorder 1.2
"MALWARE present in v. 1.3 on"
Pros: none
Cons: I downloaded 2 newer versions of this program's setup, one from the homepage bestquicksoft dot com and one from bestsoftware4download dot com. Not only did 2 of my security programs trigger multiple warnings that malwares were introduced into my system in several places, but also when I checked with McAfee Advisor it confirms that malware New.net has been detected from at least version 1.3 on.
AVOID this developer at all costs.

Version: Pro Mp3 Recorder 1.2
Pros: (nothing particular)
Cons: Too many settings. Doesn't save audio preferences. Not easy to use at first. Ugly interface. Need to restart the application everytime you want to record something else. The mp3 files created only play 10 seconds in the player interface, but you continue hearing the music.

Version: Pro Mp3 Recorder 1.2
"Wasted over three hours of my time!"
Pros: I downloaded this product because it appeared to be and is very simple to use. In terms of user interface and simplicity this is good.
I also wanted this program as it was free but also for a no frills program, i wanted it to record to mp3 and that's it. However...
Cons: When I played back my recording, it was twice the speed! - I had to record 3 hours of cassette to my PC for work and only had 4 hours to do it.
When I played back an MP3, (45min - one side of the cassette tape) it played the whole duration in 22 min - this was the same for all sides of 2 tapes, 3 hours in all.
Needless to say I'm very disapointed and would welcome feedback from other users or the developer to help identify and correct this problem.

Pros: Small: 800 Kbps, cool if you donīt want to install a 15 or 20 MB program
Easy to use

Quality OK for most activities

"I guess its because its free"
Pros: Simple to use. Clean interface. Easy clean install. Good mp3 starter program.
Cons: Not many options, Not much help with tech issues. Quality is so-so. But then it is free right?
