Version: Prevx 3.0.1.65
Pros: An anti-virus that protects your PC.
Cons: I made a software (it's real) that is already an installer. I tested the archive of the installer with VirusTotal. Prevx detected the archive as a high-risk worm. But it was harmless by the other antiviruses, including Kaspersky and Avira AntiVir!
Summary: This is a good one, but they should fix their detection rate, because some safe stuff can be detected as a virus. This might be a false-alarm, so fix it good! read more

Pros: I liked nothing about this POS product. It should not be on ANY download sites.
Cons: it found weird viruses and trojans that no other program ever heard of and then would not get rid of them until I bought their crap program, which I didn't.
Summary: Took me 4 days to get rid of this junk program and I still find traces of this POS in different scans with other products, and it has been months. I am almost positive that prevx installed the viruses itself. read more

Pros: simple/friendly UI, small footprint, low on cpu/memory resources, works great with vista, no sw conflicts, no scheduled scans, disable mode while installing third party apps. JUST WORKS
Cons: cant think of anything

"Way Better than all of the Rest"
Pros: Its effective, does quick scans, always up to date and very small resources.
Cons: You got to have an internet connection for it to work
Summary: Someone recommended Prevx, I google it and read a review, I installed it and use it to clean my PC from stubborn spyware. I do the actual removal by hand for I haven't bought the program yet which would do it automatically. I use Eset antivirus along... read more

"One doesn't BUY software for it TO KILL their pc"
Pros: not a flipping thing !!!!! and believe me ... flipping was not the word i wanted to type !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: I had what sounded like TV programs or Radio programs automatically running on the pc (did some googling & downloaded Prevx from cnet scanned the pc & had to buy it to get rid of the culprits. Prevx rebooted the pc & now won't start at all. N TEARS!
