I love fee software that can make a diffrence.
I used to use another ink saver softwae which is bought and paid money for. It was not as good as Pretonsaver.
BTW - i'm using NOD AV and did not get any alerts, i think people are enjoy writing bad reviews -

Most difficult program to download ever conceived, then it's only the trial 14 day version. God his self could not aquire the key for the supposed free version.

Cons
I require 64 bit apps. It requires a search to find that. Downloading the 64 bit app was simple enough. Getting it to operate is another story. One which I haven't yet found the end of.

I do appreciate the thought in offering this free program. And maybe it works for some, but in my case, it wasn't worth the effort.

Uninstalled after having problems, no testing and can't say if it works.
Cons
After installing on Windows XP I noticed that my screen fonts have been changed. I discovered later that the method to smooth edges of my screen fonts has been changed to Standard.
I uninstalled the program and had to set back it to Clear Type. -

- see immediately how a page uses fewer pixels to print (no mystery of whether you're saving ink)
- a slider to chose how much ink to save from draft which is very readable, but using fewer dots of inkCons
none so far.
