This in-depth game lets you crisscross the country as one of 12 presidential candidates and plan complex campaign strategies in a fight to win. You start with six weeks left until the election. You must choose your themes and give speeches as you travel from state to state, but don't forget to prep for the big debate. It's also important to create ads and find crusaders to rally voters around your platform. We really like this election simulation for its in-depth look at the trials candidates face on the road to the presidency. It's fun to pick your themes and strategies per state to gain momentum in the polls. Especially challenging is figuring out what speeches, ads, and promises will most speak to different regions. We would have liked to play a complete game to fully evaluate the software, but the demo cut us off before we could find out what it's like to win (or lose). People with an interest in politics or anyone who wants to see how nationwide campaigning works should download this game, if they can get past the frustrating trial restrictions.
