This muscular disc-imaging utility is not kidding around (though we thought the demo might be). PowerISO lets you mount virtual drives, create bootable discs, and generate CD and floppy images. It supports a huge number of image formats, including standard ISO and IMG files as well as files created by almost all popular disc-burning programs such as Nero, CloneCD, and Alcohol120%.
Our one major caveat is that the trial version doesn't let you create images larger than 300MB (most CDs hold 700MB), making it much harder to fully test the product. On the other hand, the trial period is unlimited, so some users may actually prefer this arrangement. Trial restrictions aside, we think PowerISO makes a good pick for intermediate to advanced users.

Lack of features and 'flair' lol. Very simple, probably doesn't suite most novice users. Doesn't have audio/video conversion tools for burning (I use different programs anyway).

Its easy to use, mounts images easily and quickly. also the files is short and install is very quick without any bugs

freeware limitation is annoying SOMETIMES not all the time.and burning cd's and images could be easier but u get used to it.

its a good piece of freeware to download if u need to mount an image or anything and u get used to it if you want to burn an image or cd but if u want to buy software to professionally do images etc u may want to buy another, not that this isnt good but there are better TO BE PAID FOR. but freeware wise its pretty good.

I don't know any pros because I couldn't use it for what I wanted.

If you read the "free" version information you will see that there is a limit to how much you can mount. I believe it is in the range of 350 MB - which is pretty-well useless for most DVDs.
Summary
There needs to be a clear and obvious disclaimer to those who think this is freeware. The limit of what you can mount is totally crippling if you want to mount a large game file or DVD.
I found this out only after trying for over an hour to follow very simple instructions at a popular forum. I read a little - something most of us DON'T do enough of - and found that there is a limit of how much you can mount with the "free" version.

It will start to burn only to give me an error message after ruining the disc (I tried 3).
