From Infinite Loop:Power64 is a Commodore 64 emulator, meaning that it lets you play games written for the Commodore 64 on your Mac. Power64 accomplishes this through emulation of the original hardware and through use of the actual ROM code from those games. Version 4.6: The right shift key of the C64 keyboard is now available as F12 or End on the Mac Keyboard. The Mac Mouse can now be used to emulate a joystick in adventure type games. Fixed a bug in the floppy emulation that caused trouble when writing to SEQ files.
CNET Editor's Note: In order to use this emulator, you'll have to search the Web for the games (called ROMs) that go with it. The games cannot be included with this download for legal reasons, but there is a useful link in Related Links. Sessions in this version are limited to 10 minutes.
