"crashes with 20MB files"

Video quality looks good for the partial files it did join.

Tried joining 8x 20Mb WMV files into a WMV file with several different setting and it crashed every time.
Tried joining same files into an AVI at different setting, and it froze up. -

but...after you install and use....once you pick your output format, it tells you that there will be a WATERMARK OUTPUTSummary
if you are going to say: only 14-day trial on the limitations,
then don't put a WATERMARK OUTPUT on the video
when you say "FREE TO TRY" you should be able to use the software 100% for your 14-day trial - that way you get the full benefit to make sure you want to buy it. You are kind of forcing the user to purchase the software in order to use it fully. This is in no means a FREE TRIAL WITH ONLY A 14 DAY USE as the only limiatation -

The power video joiner not only joins several or more movie clips together, but also allows you to convert movie clips to different output files. You can join four wmv movie clips and output them as an mpeg movie.
Cons
The trial version places a logo on the movie output. The price of the registered verison is $23.24, not $19.95. They charge $3.29 for an extended download service. This service allows you to re-download the software in case you lose the software.
Summary
One other problem is that the quality of the movie output is lower than the original movie clips. This decrease in quality is only slightly noticeable.

Power Video Joiner does exactly what is supposed to do. I ripped a music video DVD to mp4 format but because of the way it was produced the tracks would only convert as separate mp4 files. Power Video Joiner is a quick and easy way to merge all the files into 1 file. Now I don't have to go back to my ipod menu after each song...It's one video file, which is convenient when on an exercise bike! I like the fact that you can select any video file from your PC and place them in the order you want. PVJ lets you adjust video bitrate, Codec, width/height, Audio bit rate, channels, and sample rate. I highly recommend!
Cons
Annoying watermark on free version. But $19.95 is a very fair price for this user-friendly software!

Interface is clean and intuitive. Installation is straightforward and hassle-free. Uninstaller was included and was less hassle-free, but still better than many and was easy to find.
Cons
Limitations listed for this software state a 14-use trial, but neglect to mention the cheap Arial text watermarking on all output from the program.
Was unable to successfully generate viable image for a divx avi-to-swf joining, though the watermarking came through flawlessly on top of the blocky, colored static. Program fails at conversion where Xilisoft Video Converter 3 succeeds.
Since this program was unable to convert my task, I was unable to evaluate its quality as joining software.

Easy installation, no issues. Worked the first time I used it. Was able to join .avi files to .wma files, for viewing on my Zune player.

Well I didn't want the watermark on my file so I paid for the full version, what downloaded was the same version as from here. (Trial) I recieved a paypal recept, and 2 emails from the company none of which contained the registration code. I tried to enter the transaction recept number and press the register button and the button does nothing... Do not Pay for this software unless I update this review or post a new one saying everything is ok. I may have just been taken for $21.20 for a bogus full version. I have an email out to their support email, could be awhile before I hear back or never... Take caution with this company and their products.
