  Version: Power Tab Editor 1.7 build 80

  "Probably okay for guitar people..."

  Pros: Seems designed from the start with guitar players in mind.

  Cons: Try placing notes on the keyboard score. Can anyone actually do it? I tried for about 30 minutes without success, and I've got a degree in Computer Science, as well as Grade 4 in the Royal School of Music Exam Board at playing the piano.

  If you are looking for something for piano, try Finale Notepad.

  It's a TAB tool. TABs are for guitars

  My brother uses this program for his Trumpet peices, and he doesn't play guitar. I think he does it by trial and error though. I use this program for my guitar, so its easy to put stuff in if you know the how the notes and the frets correspond.
