"Just The Basics"

Pros
Very nice. Just simple "virtual" Post-It notes on your desktop. And I don't work for 3M, like silentghost obviously does!
Cons
I don't like the window that pops up every time you re-boot. (You'll see when you try it; it goes away after a few seconds.)

Color changeable, font changeable, transparency changeable notes with a snoozable alarm.
It knows how to be "On top" of the desk, but is always below your apps.
Cons
It's a memory hog! Not a real problem at 512MB, but still...

Simplistic little programme that helps the Bridget Jones's of the world. Easy to download and access from your desktop and handy if your phone is near the computer and you can't find a pen to save yourself.

Use it to past 'hot' links to contest web links then set daily alarms to remind me to to enter the contests. Alarms also useful for other things such as setting reminders 'time to renew' and 'follow up with'

Also a perfect tool to jot down quick ideas and such

The only problem i have with it is the appearance and wish there was more customizable features like color and size.

I love the alarms the most. I don't forget anything anymore, people's birthdays, flea & heartworm medications for pets, once-a-week duties, just anything you need to remember, the alarm will remind you! They're just the BEST!
Cons
Would like a choice of different colored notes rather than just yellow, but what a small, nit-picky thing that doesn't really matter.

Cannot create templates for dispensing notes. Cannot have own note style be the one dispensed from the Notepad. Cannot change the color of notes. Cannot cascade desktop in additional ways (by the first number on the note, by a date on the note, or by the note creation date, etc.). Cannot get a second chance with Trashed notes. Cannot pull notes out of the Trash back onto the desktop. Cannot automatically backup notes to a different disk or server. Cannot customize Post-It Software Notes by setting up own display options, Trash features, default note style, backup file, or many other features. *ALL ABOVE FEATURES CAN BE FOUND IN THE STANDARD OR PROFESSIONAL EDITION OF POST-IT SOFTWARE NOTES*
