This is a nice free collection of the version 3 characters at DAZ. You can definately do beautiful art with these.

Its only the base characters. No clothes.

There are many freebies for these on the internet, you just need to look for them. This is a great download to get you started using DAZ and doing 3d art.

Simple, straightforward download. It's free. Nice model, nice beach and....... er.... that's IT!
Cons
Clicking on the zoom icon opened a dialog box that advised me that clicking and dragging would move the camera around for various viewpoints...... Er... No. It doesn't. In fact, nothing functioned at all

It may be free but it takes up a lot of disk space for what is effectively a picture.

Quickstart scenes are parented strangely, but understood for product and add-on sales.
Summary
I have recommended this to anyone who is only getting their head around 3D for the first time, without the learning curve of, say, a Blender, which is also free.
Would like perhaps some idea of how to create custom textures, clothes, etc.... but that is how you generate your $$, eh? Not a criticism, and I applaud your business model.
Perhaps there are tuts on the site to make my own skin textures and SSS. -

Cons
...either crashes during the download. Or the resulting .sit file crashes when expanded using 'Stuffit Expander'. Seems like the file is corrupted. Any chance of this being replaced with a working download?
