  Didn't crash my system.

  Doesn't actually do anything. I tried several times to get it to stitch together a panorama of about 10 or 12 pics, and it allowed me to select them and (seem to) start the process, and nothing happened, even an hour later. No panorama, no nothing, the app just sits there. It also has a weird interface and tools, like they wrote their own routines, or used some off-beat library, for basic stuff like file dialogs.

  Summary

  I'm guessing this worked in some version of Windows at some time, but does not function except as a time waste under Windows 8 (on a real laptop, not a tablet).

• Built-In Hi-jacking of browser. Try custom install???

  Pros

  This program from PowerOfSoftware tries to subvert and change automatically your personal choices of browser home page, search engine, and adds a company selected toolbar, whether you desire it or not. You loose control of your computer. Zone Alarm found two internet communications outbound during intallation, reporting the location and other details of the install actions. These actions, and the promise made by CNET Download.com that these actions were not going to happen, are the only positives I could experience during the initial attempt to find the clean install promised. Are these positive experiences? I warn you, as CNET Download.com does not warn you. Installation was cancelled at that point. A final positive item.

  Cons

  The installation has baggage, in the form of a browser hi-jacking attempt. You are given a text fine print warning at the point of selecting the 'default install' versus the 'custom install' text box. That is the only warning prior to loosing control of your computer browser. By that point of what is normally expected to be a installation of the written promise of a panorama photo editor program, you are hit with a preselected "Quick Installation (Recommended)" automated trip point of default auto installation of the hidden hi-jacking and unwritten aspects of this seperate program portion. You may be able to rebuild your browser aspects after they are changed, but in either install method, it is not safe to run this install without scanning it first for malware and spyware. I refused to install the subversive program of PowerOfSoftware. What a let down to be without the possible good editor. All that baggage, and with CNET riding the delivery horse announcing it was clean.

  Summary

  Unwritten aspects of hi-jacking, and unexpected loss of browser control is built in to the standard "Quick Installation (Recommended)" process. Both PoerOfSoftware company, and Download.com, CNET, are responsible for this unexpected subversive attack upon the new users computers. Outbound internet transmissions twice occur prior to actually selecting to install the hi-jacked settings. No warnings are issued on this website description presentation, and no explaination up to actual program installation, of the names of, nor the content of, the hijackers reputation, names, nor even a description of the qualities of, the additional hidden content. Only upon selecting the fine print of the "Custom Installation" by manually changing the 'auto install' method can possibly prevent the subversive attack. It may not work even with that selection used. I refused to become confused and damaged. I did not install this PowerOfSoftware program.

  Does a very good job of matching up photo's when letting the program do the stitching. I was pleased with how the program has been improved over the first version.

  The interface still needs some work.

  Summary

  I like the program and hope that they continue to improve it. For a free-be, I'd say it's ideal for those who can't afford to buy some of the panorama programs.

  I have been unable to create anything so far.. I don't know if its the file size or not. The program gives me error codes when I try merge two photo's. File size above 5 meg's.

  None. Doesn't work whatsoever. Absolutely useless.

  Utterly useless. Doesn't work. Appears to install and dumps an icon on your desktop and a heap of crap in your registry. However, on attempting to run the package absolutely nothing happens. Complete waste of space.

  It is not possible to say what is good or bad about this product because it doesn't work. Running XP Pro on a reasonably powered system but nothing. Nada. Zip. Complete rubbish.

  Tried several times to install this program without success on a Vista machine. The install completes successfully but when you try to run the program it says contact the program author about the error. So far no response from the author.

  Summary

  The writeup on this product sounds wonderful and would be very useful for my particular needs to join scanned pages together. But alas, the program won't run at all and the program author hasn't been responsive to my request for assistance.

  i tried it one year ago, it seemed quite good

  i got it from the producer having bought Photo POS; <p>they have changed something in their software startup/regster procedures, because now it is seen as suspicious from security suite (it was not so a year ago), and even after giving permission to the exe module, it's impossible to execute the registration step (endless wait for connection). <p>Even to start it you need administrator login. <p>I hope POS will reset their procedures.
