Version: PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor 6 build 96
"Love it...."
Pros: absolutely dead simple to use...and....brilliant results...beats buying USB cassette decks or turntables...forget it...just install this and your off
with built in mic..levelling editors...equalizer & tweaks such as crackle & scratch depression from choked vinyl....I think the results you get from this are ultra cool
your vinyl is re-invigorated and cassettes dragged right up to date....and with the processing power we have these days...you hear your old tunes as you never have...especially thru the home system thru real/monkey or winamp...perfect

In reply to warriormgw, there are numerous articles on the web regarding the hook-up of cassette decks and turntables to a computer. I had to buy a phono preamp several years ago (audiophile tc 750lc) to connect my turntable, but I don't know if they are still required. The cassette deck can plug directly into the computer's Line In jack. Good luck.

Id like to convert my vinyl and cassette music to mp3 - the software can make it happen but how does one get the musinc onto the pc in the first place? sorry if I appear ignorant to this, but it is not obvious to me.. Thanks...Michael
