In spite of its narrow focus, this program makes a useful find for its target audience. Poker Clock's name might lead you to believe the program is centered solely on timing card games, but this is not the case. You'll find other tools for managing poker tournaments, such as features for calculating antes, blind bets, and payouts. You set everything up in the logically arranged configuration screen before switching to the main display mode. The latter shows such information as time and players remaining in the game, the payout structure, the chip counts, the rebuys, and the add-ons. Once your tourney moves on to the second deck, the entire screen will switch to a color you specify. When a game is almost over, Poker Clock can be set to sound an alarm that alerts all players. Though clearly not intended for average users, folks who regulary host poker tournaments may find that this program saves them some organizational hassles.

  "Excellent product - read on for a vista compatible version"

  Pros: Excellent piece of software and easy to use.

  The version from this site does not work with Windows Vista - however if you go to pokerclock.net, the download from that site does work with Vista

  The clock can also work out payouts, antes and do a multitude of other things aside from just being a timer.

  Cons: there is nothing that I do not like! I will definately be paying the money once the trial ends to get this software.

  "must have for poker home games"

  Summary: This software runs tournaments just like the big tourneys I've played in at New Orleans and Vegas. We tried it out last weekend and our home game ran much better.

  Summary: Very easy to use, and professional looking. I have downloaded a ton of files from this site, and this will be the first time I actually buy the full version!
