    Version: Pocket Tanks 1.0

"Scorched Earth (aka Pocket Tanks) has never played so well!"

    on March 20, 2003

Summary: I didn't realize that this was an updated version of the classic game Scorched Earth until I played it. I was not disappointed!

This game takes the familiar tank vs. tank premise, but throws in some interesting weapons and a smart point system, making the game fresh and adding a layer of strategy. I can play the demo of this game for hours and never get bored.

My only gripe is that in one-player mode, even the hardest level is a little too easy for my taste. Also, the game "hiccups" every once in a while, but it never affects the game play.

This is a well made game that I highly recommend!
