"i love this so far-just used it-its great!"
Pros: easy as heck to use & does what it says-can convert anything to icons for whatever use you want. kool stuff! i pust cookie monster for "my documents"...LOL..kool.
Cons: for some odd reason it wont put the words into english but in italian-no big deal though, i can make out what it says, like "importa" means "import". easy to get around it & figure it out. i dont know why it didnt use english even though i chose english?!
oh well, its worth it to me...finally a download that works & is free too...i see most here under the "icon tools" category you have to pay for after trying it out.

don't use this after all. in my first review i gave it ok except for the italian language item but that was after only having download it & had used this more than a couple hours.
well, now that i've had it for a few weeks, it started to slowly mess up the response time to other desktop icons i customized with this pixrev. it first had my outlook express email take a year to respond after clicking it, then it began to respond wrong like when i'd click the my documents i got the window for recycle bin instead, and then i'd click windows media player & it would give all the windows which i had the customized icons on all at once. to stop this, i had to restart the PC and i uninstalled it for good, then i put everything back to original windows icons that came with the PC when i bought it.
so, now that i've added this update i'd say you're better off without it. it'll start to mess up real bad later on & isnt worth the headaches.

i forgot to explain more the italian language thing. it has only part of it in italian; the important parts like what file extentions you want to import & export are all in english (example: (ICO)ICO Windows Icon). all of these file extentions are in english so you dont have to "guess" your way through it. the only other part in italian is a short paragraph above the area where you get to customize the size of the icon--i says something about maximum pixels allowed i think.
sorry about not inlcuding this part in my review but i messed up & forgot it...my bad (oops).
