This versatile and highly configurable download manager boasts plenty of features for retrieving and sorting hundreds of pictures, video files, and compressed files from multiple sites. Its self-explanatory interface lets you toggle panes and toolbars.
The software crawls into password-protected and script-driven sites, retrieving files in up to 50 threads. Picture Ripper can filter files by size and keyword and sort them in several ways, including by the folder structure of the site. The software comes with example projects, some of which are euphemistically labeled "Adults Only."
If you're looking for an overall media-download manager that gives you control over the entire process, and if you don't have unsupervised kids using your computer, Picture Ripper is a powerful solution.
