Version: Picasa 2.2
"Great for most people!"
Pros: Faster than Thumbs Plus and Adobe Bridge, simple to use for most people. Automatically finds and categories photos by date which is really nice.
Cons: For experts, the problem is that it's not very easy to see WHERE the photos are physically located. There is no "tree view" option! All the folders are listed in one big clump!

In the new version there is a nice threeview which shows where the images are located.
You forgot to tell about how easy it is to print images. 1-2-3 printing. 5-Stars.

If you right-click on a file or folder, a menu pops up with "locate on disk" in it. Clicking that opens that file or folder in Windows Explorer. Careful not to click "delete from disk" though, as that will delete it from your hard drive.

The new version of Picasa now has the ability to show a tree view of folders as an option. Now that I have gotten used to the linear view I prefer it to the folder tree because I do not have to remember which subfolders an image is under.
