"A very good, simple to use program to fix photos."
Version: Picasa 3.9.0 Build 136.07
Pros
Great Red Eye fix, very good cropping tool.
Cons
Effects changes in a separate file. They will copy into google with the effects but you can't move the files very easily from one folder into another. I am still not a believer in the use of libraries. I have my folders well organized and prefer not to have the computer think for me as to where a file should end up, especially when it doesn't even advise me where it will end up.
Summary
It is a truly exceptional program for the price. However, it still lacks a lot to be a truly user friendly and truly useful program for the average computer user.

"what a piece of garbage"
Version: Picasa 3.9.0 Build 136.07
Pros
none that I can see
Cons
opposite of what Cnet's review states.. it is NOT USER FRIENDLY.. not if you are used to using Paint Shop Pro X4...Adobe Photoshop Elelemnets 10...or online hosting sites like Smugmug...
what a disappointment after I downloaded this excuse for image editing software..
you get what you pay for..Summary
JUNK..JUNK.. JUNK... is all I can say.. anyone who would have high marks for this doesn't use editing software that much... what a shame... the interface is NOT USER FRIENDLY.. it is all over the place...

Version: Picasa 3.9.0 Build 136.07
Pros
loads up quickly. you can easily print or email from within.
Cons
I have problems deleting pictures from one folder without deleting it from all?

I guess I need to do a little more reading to see how to correctly use the features. Overall I like it very much and use it all the time.

"I know of none better than Picasa."
Version: Picasa 3.9.0 Build 136.07
Pros
Picasa has most always provided all of the services I have needed.
Cons
There is one big mystery about my Picasa. Over the years I have used Picasa many of my photos have just disappeared. I have tried to get help from Picasa with this problem but am unable to find any.

"Still doesn't work with Windows 7"
Version: Picasa 3.9.0 Build 136.07
Pros
None, if it's incompatible with Windows 7.
Cons
Incompatibility with Windows 7.
Summary
I really miss Picasa. It's incompatibility with Windows 7 is very disappointing to me. I'm amazed that this has yet to be fixed. In the interim FastStone is the next best thing. By the time Picasa does work with Windows 7, if ever, I'll proably just stick with FastSone as I am learning to use it and like it almost as I did Picasa.

"easy to use, who needs photo shop"
Version: Picasa 3.9.0 Build 136.07
Pros
I have been using picasa for a number of years now, sine it was recommend by a friend. It's very easy to use and there are regular updates which have lead to a steady improvement in the product.. What'd more it's free which is rare these days.
Cons
Cons. There have been few since I started to use it. The biggest was when the Pentax K5 came onto the market there was a problem with raw files, but to there credit this was soon put right. So I have no complaints. Well done guys keep up the good work.
Summary
A good user friendly pice of soft ware and it's free!
