There were several options for me to apply to photos and images. I liked the ease of use and the feature that allows you to change your mind and cancel something that you decide you don't want to do.
Cons
After working with PhotoShop, Picasa seems a little unsophisticated. It is adequate for users who are not familiar with photo/image editing.
Summary
Overall, I liked it because it was easy to use and very appropriate for the new user's abilities to apply and to acquire skill over time of use.

Easy to write captions, print, arrange etc.I store all my photos in high resolution without any issues.
Cons
Can't email a picture out-recent problem-error message doesn't have a solution yet on the web.

The variations that can be made to a photo are tremendous. The "auto" perform options are accurate and the different options are numerous and great.

needs better instructions but all can be found by doing.

still don't like the library interface as much as I would like to

I like picasa for quick work and for cropping and effects and it works well for sharing...but it is not as useful for doing some of the more detailed editing and retouching as I would like...so it is not the only thing I rely on.

I like to be albe to review what camera lens iso apeture combination that I used when viewing my online uploads. Until a few days ago all this information was included. It still is in older albums but not in new uploads. What's Google up to now?
Summary
Losing the exif data in new uploads is a very significant problem. I hope it's just a glitch in this new release.
