This OpenGL screensaver is based on Fibonacci phyllotaxis. It emulates the growth of seed heads of flowers like the sunflower. In the growth of these seed heads the arrangement forms an optimum packing of the seeds so that, no matter how large the seed head, the seeds are uniformly packed at any stage. Through this growth we see the formation of spiral patterns.
