From MultimediaPhoto:

The Tone Mapping Plug-In compresses the tonal range of High Dynamic Range images while maintaining local contrast. Details in both highlights and shadows are retrieved while making the HDR image ready for display on standard monitors and prints.

The plug-in can also be applied to 16-bit images resulting from RAW conversion.

What's new in this version:

  • List of thumbnails of built-in presets.
  • More flexibility for resizing the preview and addition of scrollbars when the preview does not fit in window
  • Double-clicking on sliders resets to default value for the setting.
  • Change in presentation of Details Enhancer settings as in version 4.1 of Photomatix Pro.
