    "The program suits me"

    April 15, 2009  |   By Gurelo

    Version: Photology 2.0.117

    Pros

Nice concept that helps me to store my pictures in an ordently way.
Easy in use after reading the help-file.

    Cons

Takes to much time to download pictures. While downloading slows down the pc considerably. Consumes 100% CPU.
Some pictures where not recognised at all as I ordered the program to do.

    Summary

The program helps to classify a whole image library. Acces to the library is easy.
The toolbox is rather poor but more than enough for starters.
One has to be patient when searching the net for images and using them into the program.

"This is what I always wanted!!"

    February 9, 2009  |   By tradenurd

    Version: Photology 2.0.117

    Pros

I have over 10000 images and phology provides the best access to them. I love the email option with the Amazon S3 link

    Cons

start is a bit slow but that seems to be .NET starting

    Summary

I found images i forgot where i stored them. Photology also scans network drives. That takes a while but it happens only once. After this it recognised all new images i stored. Search results have the same quality as googles. I always find what I am looking for. For my work I sometimes need to look for images to go along with some theme. The color picker is really neat! Photology rocks!

"Did they test it before release?"

    November 26, 2008  |   By miber

    Version: Photology 2.0.117

    Pros

    Don't know - none, I guess

    Cons

Uses 100% CPU, so after 5 minutes it had managed to scan only 6 images... Then I gave up.

    Summary

Good looking, quick download - but useless because of CPU usage.

    "Works not well at all"

    November 26, 2008  |   By IKTHUSRJD

    Version: Photology 2.0.117

    Pros

    Can't think of any

    Cons

This must be beta. Sounds more useful than it is. Slows everything on the computer down; features, when they work, are very slow. Between downloading & using, used up about a half hour of precious time. Wait for new version

    Summary

The download took much longer, given its size than it should have. Suddenly on the computer I found everything had practically slowed to a halt. When finally opened there was no help given, and while the web page added some ideas of what to do, the final result did not provide much. Would suggest a much wider scope of "locating" pictures, files et al. Looking for "faces", for ex. did not provide all photographs of this genre so a great many were eliminated altogether. Program needs a lot of work.
