Version: PhotoScape 3.4
"Free Image Editor with an Intuitive fresh look"
Pros: Just a good lightweight image editor (lightweight compared to PS and Gimp). Very easy to use, great for quick scaling and cropping of photos. I use Photoshop and Gimp, but Photoscape is always on my computer as the option for some quick editing.
Cons: Nothing. It's an image editor and it does a great job.
Summary: I prefer this to IrfanView, it just seems better looking and more intuitive. If you want a nice looking lightweight image editor just give it a try. It's free. read more

Version: PhotoScape 3.4
"It does what it's supposed to"
Pros: It does exactly what it says it will, and I haven't had any problems with it at all. You can choose wether or not you want to overwrite the original file or save it as two separates, which is very convinient.
Cons: Wouldn't hurt to have a few more applications, but oh well

Summary: I very soon found what other things it will do apart from Backlight compensation adjustments post-production. I've used Histogram settings and saturation, luminance, shadow, mid-tone and gamma adjustments in such software as Paintshop Pro and this l... read more
