"It did not present any problems I could over come."
Version: Phone to PC 3.223
Pros
Pod to PC does accomplish what I needed which was to get my music off my iPod.
Cons
I didn't think there was enough help in the set up.
-
"Extremely easy to use; worked flawlessly"
Version: Phone to PC 3.212
Pros
Pod To PC was extremely easy to use.The 10 song limit is only if you don't pay and get a registration code. If you do buy the product, there is no limit on the number of songs.
Cons
Did not have any problems.
Summary
You literally open Itune, plug in your IPOD, and can click one button to transfer all songs from your IPOD to your PC.

"Only 10 songs at a time and 1 minute wait"
Version: Phone to PC 3.212
Pros
Zero, zilch, nada.
Cons
1. I can't find where the program put my songs.
2. Ten song limit per transfer (unless you want to pay, and who wants to do that?)
3. Can't close the registration box
4. It doesn't tell you any of that when you're downloading or installing it.Summary
I spent an hour downloading and cinfiguring the program to my IPod and ITunes. I spent another hour checking the songs I wanted to transfer to my computer. When I hit the transfer button, it only let me transfer 10 songs. As if that isn't bad enough, it won't allow you to check out of the registration dialogue box which has a 1 minute timer. Lastly, when I went to find the 10 songs it said it transfered, they were not on my conmputer. I have no idea where they are. They're not in the directory I specified.
There are a million programs out there that do what Pod to PC does and all of them do it better. -
"Does Exactly what its suppose to"
Version: Phone to PC 3.106
Pros
It does the good working from within itunes and sorts out plkaylists and tags, looks for duplication and handles large libraries.
Cons
Sure its a paid program, and doesnt work that good as a trial offer and Hey Iam as tight as they come but its worth paying to be able to use this software.
Summary
BUY IT USE IT LIKE IT

"Worked perfectly!"
Version: Phone to PC 3.106
Pros
The version has been updated since the video was made. It has a "transfer all" button and that was all I had to do. It transfered all 7,000 + songs I had on my I-Pod classic and all my playlists, videos etc.
Cons
It put up a message saying I could only transfer 10 songs because it was a demo version, so I bought the software. I tend to pay for software anyway. This one is worth it. It did take a long time to transfer evertything.
Summary
Worked great! It does require you to have I-Tunes open which is opposite of the instructions on the video. It actually opens I-Tunes when it launches so that is a bit confusing from those instructions. It probably took 8-10 hours to transfer all my music so it you have a lot (I have over 7,000 songs on my I-pod) you need to make sure you factor that in.

"Works as Advertised"
Version: Phone to PC 3.106
Pros
Free.
Easy to Use.
Can be open while iTunes is open.
Phone is functional during the process, but I don't recommend memory intensive things.Cons
10 Song at a time Limit in Free Version.
60 Second Nag Screen.
Doesn't seem to work with pictures.Summary
Shell out the 20 bucks if you have it and let that be a lesson to you for not backing your computer up.
-
"Great way to pay Apple twice for your lost music."
Version: Phone to PC 3.106
Pros
None I could find.
Cons
You would have to lose a about 80GB to sustantiate the cost of the software.
Summary
Don't use this software.
-
"Did exactly as it said it would, worked great!"
Version: Phone to PC 3.085
Pros
Easy to use, imported songs directly into iTunes
Cons
Only con is that windows version has a 10 song per transfer limit.
Summary
Would recommend to anyone who accidentally erased a song they shouldn't have or have hard drive issues and need to restore their library (if they didn't back it up)
