"Good game but sometimes very slow"
Version: Pharaoh demo
Pros
Good graphics, good to play...
Cons
During the last phase the game becomes not responding when the monument is built upto 80% or so... My m/c is with 768 RAM and Win XP... don't know why even I tried the same in different PCs but got the same problem... Anyway it's a good game to play..

"Excellent example of a civilisation/strategy game"
Version: Pharaoh demo
Pros
An excellent game, despite its vintage, with a good level of complexity, modelling impacts of different developments on a society and its inhabitants. (In that respect I strongly disagree with one of the other reviewers, who found it too complex.) Details were good, even down to the city inhabitants giving different comments, depending on the mood of the city. From somebody who generally finds strategy games a bit ho-hum after a few goes, this one is addictive.
Cons
The street-based "walker" algorithm is a bit clunky, although understandable as a programming building-block. Neglect the system and it usually declines, whereas a bit of autonomous positive activity in the algorithms would have been good (and make returning to the PC after being away more interesting, rather than having the invariable decline-and-fall of Thebes awaiting).

"Great city building strategy from the ancient Egypt"
Version: Pharaoh demo
Pros
Improved all the stuff from Caesar 3, nice music and cute graphics. Monuments building.
Cons
Later missions take many hours to play. But thats not a problem of this demo :-)

"Great Game, but I liked Caesar better"
Version: Pharaoh demo
Pros
Not your average strategy game. There are many elements to this game that you can tweak and see what effect they have on the society you build. From pleasing the gods to harvesting crops for the city this game is very challenging and addicting.
Cons
For some reason I couldn't remove the program with add/remove programs and there is no uninstall file, so I had to use a special program to remove it. I would recommend trying Caesar III instead of this game. It's made by the same company(Sierra) and it is a newer game than this.

"Nice game"
Version: Pharaoh demo
Pros
I thought it was interesting and fun. The graphics are good, the controls easy to figure out. No problems with downloading or bugs of any kind, ran smoothly for me.
Cons
Great demo to play, but not sure if it was interesting enough to pay any money for the full version, maybe if there was nothing else to get...

Cons

"Can be irritating and complicated"
Version: Pharaoh demo
Pros
Has a good setting, very interesting visuals. Has good features and great gameplay.
Cons
The game is very glitchy, very complicated to play sometimes. Tutorials are very confusing, they do not explain how to do things very well. Definitely not the greatest game made by Impression Games. Zues is a better game of this kind with Greek mythology.

"Good, fun game. Doesn't take too long to load e.t.c"
Version: Pharaoh demo
Pros
I think the game 'plot' is pretty good, and offers a lot of help so you can complete objectives. Good layout, if not very big, but I'd reccomend it as it is a fairly good game. :)
Cons
The graphics are a bit primitive, but work fine and aren't overly noticeable. Map size isn't very big, and makes it hard to build a large city.
