It's a good game. Very fun, and a little addictive.
Cons
Once you've downloaded it, on some computers, it won't let you open the setup. So, you're left with a problem.

Now, I'm one of the people who actully owns a full copy of pharaoh and I can tell you it's a highly enticing, and addictive game.
Graphics are great for it's time, and in my opinion this game easily beats others of it's kind like SimCity.
Cons
As good as this game is, it's hard to get used to and you'll find alot of it is learned from trial-and-error.
Tutorials, aren't very user-friendly as they are not very well explained.
But once you've got to grips with it really fun game.

I'm a fan of most all strategy games and I liked how this game "attempted" to be realistic in the way of civil problems that no other game bothers to deal with.
Cons
I though this game was just confusing and annoying... I downloaded it because I like strategy fighting games and thats what I thought this was. Of course, there is an option for military structures but I just could'nt put up with this demo long enough to get to that point. If you think you would like an annoying sim-town that makes you have to work on a different town problem every second, this game is for you.
