This entertaining game requires you to use your mind to escape the ancient tombs of the pharaohs in one piece. Your job is to navigate the various platforms and labyrinths to collect treasure while you fend off attacks from mummies and other monsters. Once you've cleared the board of all the treasure, you must make your way to the door leading to the next level. The graphics look slightly outdated but still present the basic idea just fine, and the Middle Eastern music compliments the theme perfectly. Besides its level editor, one of Pharaoh's Curse Gold's coolest features is that you can play any of the 70 mazes at any time, though we'd recommend starting with the earlier ones until you get the hang of things. We found the game to be a real test of our thinking skills. You must chop through walls and floors with various tools, so if you use the wrong implement at the wrong time, you may not be able to successfully complete the board. The feature set is decent, letting you modify music, sound, and keyboard controls. In our analysis, Pharaoh's Curse Gold can engross gamers long after its trial period has expired.

  "Loads of Fun"

  Pros: This game is a load of fun. Once you get the concepts, you'll love it. I wouldn't say addicting but definitely challenging and unlike other puzzles, this games tells you the solutions with a push of a button. Nice graphics.

  Cons: Instead of 60 minutes, you only get 15 levels, with the first 3 as no-brainers.

  Version: Pharaoh's Curse Gold 1

  "MAJOR ADDICTION!!"

  Pros: The "F8" help screen at EVERY level makes it great to not get frustrated. LOVED the glowing eyes and Egyptain symbols in the background.

  Cons: Certain levels there is NO WAY I could figure out how to win it without resorting to the "F8" help key. Background music only changes twice during the entire 70 levels and it can get mundane.
