"Fantastic software"

Pros
The instant updating is great in addition to customizing the music for each slideshow. You can also display the camera technical information (EXIF) when you take pictures. I definitely recommend this program.

Pros
Phanfare Photo has dramatically cut the time (from hours to minutes, or dare I say, seconds!) it takes me to produce and maintain my online family album. Images and videos sync to the server automatically, and produce ad-free, elegant web albums with tons of styles to choose from. Built-in invitation system to invite friends and family to view your photos and videos in large resolution without exposing them to tasteless solicitations to buy stuff. I use it from multiple computers (Macs and PCs) and Phanfare keeps everything in sync, combining the advantages of a network storage service (e.g. backup) with the speed of local manipulation/management of my albums. All this cheaper than the yearly cost of vanilla web hosting!
Cons
The Mac client is even slicker than the PC client--I hope they add some of the Mac features (like filmstrip mode) in the next version of the PC client.

Pros
Very fast uploads. Comes with a photo and video organizer. Mac and PC compatible. Clean simple web layouts without advertising cruft. They store your original images so no worries if your computer crashes. Very responsive customer support. Choice of either Kodak, Shutterfly or Snapfish for printing.
Cons
Minimal tagging support and no consolidated site that lets people search through everyone's photos. Seems more geared toward people wanting to maintain their own site versus looking to join a photo sharing community. Not free (negative to some, I like the support and lack of ads)
