"Not very functional with 64 bit Win7."
Version: PerformanceTest 7.0.Build 1027
Pros
Looks to be a very user friendly program, with graphically displayed data. Also, no piggyback crap on install.
Cons
Data on ram speed, ram size, hdd size incorrect. Probably due to using this prog on a 64 bit os.
Summary
Would recomend this prog for any 32 bit os user intersted in baselining, overclocking, and test. I'd like to try the 64 bit version.

"Excellent 'window' into your PC"
Version: PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1016
Pros
As an IT professional for many years I heartily recommend Performance Test 7.0! This tool provides you with most of the tools that IT Professionals enjoy in their work. IT is fast, customizable and easy to use and understand.
Cons
None that I have found.

"had to delet my sumary for a shorter one"
Version: PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1012
Pros
Well... I had the full version of this software and Tech tracker has replaced it with an evaluation version which i will have to pay for ... Tech tracker needs to know that just because software is newer , it is not necessily better !
Cons
I dont like the way evaluation versions never seem to give full access to the full software - How is it possible to evaluate something you cant use fully? - If I sold you a car without the gearbox
Summary
The only thing I like about this software is that it was made after my version of the software - sadly many software vendors make new versions and dont allow the older version to update - its a money greed thing

"Try It ! Cool, easy, intuitive."
Version: PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1011
Pros
The interface is cool. I liked how "user Friendly" it was ,as, I am not a computer whiz.
Cons
I truly can't think of any!
-
"Very useful. I've got it running an my system."
Version: PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1010
Pros
it's very good at checking for update/upgrades. informed me of sever updates I didn't notice.
Cons
can't tell the difference between a free update and a paid upgrade. as far as I can tell there's no way to tell you don't want to upgrade.
-
"Good stable performance test for reference between PCs"
Version: PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1008
Pros
NO SPYWARE! Simple setup and interface. Good for establishing a baseline for making changes and tweaks and for comparing the results with other machines.
Cons
30 day trial only. It's not free.
Summary
Recommended. I tested 2 identical older AMD XP2800+ machines, having only 1 defference... one with a Asus MB and the other with a Biostar MB. Bios settings and all other hardware was exactly the same brand and type & specs (hdd, memory, video card). The Biostar ran circles around the Asus.

"User friendly benchmarking tool with lots of features"
Version: PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1005
Pros
+ Interface is neat, clean and eye-pleasing. Gives advanced system info
+ Benchmarking tests are relatively quick to run
+ Easy to use, no trouble installing or getting started
+ Baselines downloadable from within the appCons
- Video tests don't look as amazing as other benchmark tools on the market
- Hard to copy and paste between some screensSummary
Performancetest has a lot of features and benchmarks that cover all the hardware in your machine. It's really easy to use, the menu items are clear and I like the intuitive way it displays system information when you hover over parts of the Main screen with your mouse. It also seems to be well supported by the developers with a good help file and online tech support. You can also download baselines to compare your machine with from the program itself which is pretty useful.
Two things really make this product stand out from the others - the first is the advanced CPU physics test which I've seen many game demos of, but is really a first for a benchmarking app. Secondly, it packs a big punch for 11mb of download. 3Dmark06 is 580mb in comparison! This is great when I need to download something to benchmark a rig quickly.
Some of the video tests look a bit dated, but overall they do the job. Recommended. -
"has all the tests you'll ever need"
Version: PerformanceTest 6.1 build 1018
Pros
runs all the tests in about 2 minutes
Cons
no full screen capability in review application
Summary
it seems to be right on the money, placing my rig right where I thought it should go.
