Summary
havent tried it but from the screenshots it looks exactly like Driver Genius. Thats a big warning sign when an app copies its look from another.

"No Customer Service... Stay Away!"

I know this is about Raxco PerfectSpeed but this is a little background. The first time I dealt with Raxco was in 2007 when I purchased PerfectDisk and I've purchased 2 or 3 upgrades of PerfectDisk since. I liked the product and been using it since then. But I never had to deal with Customer or Tech support.
Cons
Just recently, I downloaded PerfectUpdater from download.cnet.com and after installing it did not work (and this is not the con). So I uninstalled it, went to their website, downloaded it and installed the new one. When I opened it, I received a pop-up message stating "Your Free Trial has expired". I did not even get a chance to try it! I contacted Customer support and recived an email saying " make sure to permit or disable your firewall before installing." The issue had nothing to do with firewall or the software accessing their website. I contacted them again and received an email from a different person. He provided instructions on how to properly remove the software and then reinstall. No matter what I did and how well, I uninstalled, cleaned my laptop and registry, I still kept getting the same message. I contacted Customer support again and have not heard from them since.
Summary
With a customer support service such as this, what is my incentive to purchase their software? If this is how it is before I purchase, what would it be like after they have my money?

Here's the "PRO": "finds more updates" ............................... than are LEGITIMATELY needed.
Cons
Created an account just to warn of this program, DO NOT DOWNLOAD! Also strangely failed to follow through with anything that I clicked, as Avira blocked all my clicks... Hmmmm....I would take my word for it, but you are free to try yourself, let others know of your own accounts, just BEWARE! Happy hunting! :)
Summary
Scam, will not even show which drivers need updating, only tell you that X amount of drivers "need" updating, but you must pay to find and fix. Also, I already know from a legit paid program that I have exactly 7 drivers only that need updated. However my current program often fails to connect to its servers lately. (Driver Genius Pro) Which even with its problems, is WAY better than this crap. Hence my search for a new program. STAY AWAY!
