    "Careful with this software"

    September 7, 2010  |   By LestatLioncourt

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

makes your computer run *some-bit* faster

    Cons

Defrags Files in Use. Freeware works just as well. Kills the RealTek HD Audion driver on many machines. Tech support is almost none - over-seas. Have a nice day. send me $10 for saving you $40 - LOL

    Summary

Expensive and not worth the money. Defraggler is better. Oh, kills the RealTek HD Audio Drivers every time it runs. Uninstall it it will wear out your mechanical parts inthe hard disk like 10 times faster too. Defrags files in-use confusing some software. Raxco will defrag some files causing some software to stop working. Their fix for this is to skip some files for defragment. The SPEED differences are almost nothing. Don't waste your money.Use DEFRAGGLER

    "Perfect Dsik"

    May 24, 2010  |   By audiomediamasta

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

I have used this product since PD7, and it far surpasses the corny little defragger that comes with windows. I even thought that it may not work with windows 7 as I have found out that alot of stuff doesn't.

    Cons

nothing comes to mind. Sounds to me like some users pc's maybe screwed, and in need of a fresh windows install

    Summary

If you think your pc is good just go to pcpistop.com and chech it for free, they will show you how defragged your hdd is, along with any other issues and give you tips on fixing them. Windows defragger doesnt accurately report the status of the drive, and I blame ms as I do for most things windows related. windows doesnt accurately report the status of the hdd, so why use it? Plus PD11 is superfast. At least on my new Core i7, 12GB DD3, 2x GTX 260's 3TB hdd super machine it flies!

"PerfectDisk v2008 Upgrade - Just Got Mine Today - SLICK!!!"

    January 25, 2008  |   By Harley1986

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

I got my 2008 free upgrade. I think the official release day is Tuesday. This xxxx is the bomb. Much faster than my v8 and has a cool new look. They also added Stealth Patrol mode so I never have to schedule - it just does it when it needs to. These guys went all out this time.

    Cons

No con about PD. I just wish the guys at Ausilogic would stop trying to push their free stuff all over the web. They must have one guys that spends all day posting crap about it

"Nice product, still in my trial period."

    January 24, 2008  |   By msalvatini

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

The program runs pretty fast and seems to incrementally have helped. Don't see that much of a difference to say the optimization works well. But, no complaints.

    "The best"

    January 24, 2008  |   By AProphetofFortune

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

Windows defrag as we know isn't that fantastic so you need to find an alternative and this is probably the best one on the market.

    "Won't defrag USB drives"

    January 20, 2008  |

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

    Install smoothly and defrags ok.

    Cons

The reason I'd use another program like DiskKeeper is that PerfectDisk won't defrag my external USB drives, of which I have a few. It'll defrag only internal drives! :(

"Can you remember how fast your new computer used to run?"

    January 17, 2008  |   By Palebushman

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

If you are looking to get back the performance, your once new machine, used to give you. Then purchasing Raxco's PerfectDisk 8, will be the best investment you will make, to bring that wonderful fast performance back again, and....... Keep it that way. I purchased this awesome product after much trailing of its imitations, and I was just totally amazed. The features that this program incorporates makes it the 'Phoenix' of defragmenters (IMHO) and is most certainly worthy of its name 'PerfectDisk' in every way.

    Cons

Not being able to find anything wrong with PerfectDisk 8, and how on earth did I miss the previous versions!?

    "Doubled my computers abilities"

    January 16, 2008  |   By Dilzi

    Version: PerfectDisk 8

    Pros

Before I used PerfectDisk, the whole computer acted very slowly due to my near-full terrabit of space. Not to mention the countless uninstalls and reinstalls on many, many programs, PerfectDisk has cleared all that clutter and speed my computers processing times two-fold!

    Cons

Only a 30 day trial. If it was free there would be no cons at all.
