Version: Pegasus Mail 4.41
Pros: I like the look and features and can configure and receive Fastmail accounts. If Pegasus ever offers the ability to receive other mail accounts, I'd probably uninstall Thunderbird.
Cons: I don't have to read a manual to figure out Thunderbird account setups. Plus, I can configure my AOL, Hotmail, and Yahoo accounts with Thunderbird. And I just don't find it easy to navigate this program.

Version: Pegasus Mail 4.41
Pros: Nothing; because it would crash every time I tried to use it.
Cons: Never worked properly and when I searched for help, I found that the creator of the program had decided that he had given it away for long enough--he will start charging $50 per year. I uninstalled it.
Summary: Be careful. It is not really free anymore--they want 1,000 people to donate $50 a year or they will stop maintaining the program. It never worked on my machine anyway. read more

Version: Pegasus Mail 4.41
"Full-featured, free & fantastic"
Pros: PMail offers many features in a surprisingly free product.
Built-in spam filter
Powerful message filtering
Multiple identities/accounts
Embodies 'function' over 'fancy'
Developed in New Zealand!Cons: I've been using Pmail for 15 years and I can only think of one slight 'con'.
Spam/junk filtering doesn't learn quite as quickly as I'd like.Summary: I love Pegasus. I has the advantages of not being Microsoft, not creating bloated messages as per the crappy Incredimail, and being easy to configure relevant to each user's needs and technical competency i.e. a power user will be able to make it jum... read more
