Here's the "but".
It's freeware for a pretty good product, and the publisher obviously thinks nothing is really "free". So, they loaded it with cr@pware. The previous reviews are right to a point - all the stuff that gets installed is by an active acceptance when you install.
BE CAREFUL WHEN INSTALLING.
There are tiny checked boxes after the installation pops up, and 2 "Acceptance" screens. Don't click on these blindly. Read what is on your screen, uncheck the stuff on the first TOS screen, and then decline what you don't want on the second. The software is still usable.
Oh, and avoid using CNET's download "tool" by clicking on the Direct Download link.Summary

INSTALLS MANY THINGS. Don't allow any INSTALL MANAGER or ANYTHING ON IT. Make sure your Norton Antivirus is checked before install

Worked fine for my simple needs. Easy drag-and-drop manipulation.

With my present understanding of files, I can't name a specific "con".

I was in a hurry to convert an MP4 file for editing in my old Win-Movie Maker program, and dragging the file into PAZERA and clicking "convert" worked for my particular situation. I downloaded another MP4 converter first, and quickly got lost in the options. I lost some quality in the converted avi file, but didn't have time to look deeper into the program. Could have just been "operator error"! I'm not up to speed on files and file conversions. (I'm still stuck in the MP3 era!) If you are just looking for an easy, "anyone can use it" MP4 converter this is definately a good choice!

1. installs (and tells you) "regclean pro" whether you want it or not
2. hidden install of "hpmon.exe"
3. hidden install of "Babylon toolbar"
4. changes browser options to make "Babylon Seach" your home pageSummary
It might be good (others think so) but any software that without warning modifies my setup/browser options etc - that installs unknown programs DOES NOT DESERVE A REVIEW AND GOES STRAIGHT IN THE BIN .. THAT'S MY ADVICE!

"Absolute Nightmare"

It works, and I think it manages to convert MP4s correctly. Unfortunately I had to wipe my C drive after installing and the converted files were on my desktop so I'll never know.
Cons
It installs a viral browser which is IMPOSSIBLE to remove (seriously, I had to reformat my laptop last night to get rid of it). Stay well clear of this!

Bang-on for the task I wanted it for... I wanted this program to convert my mp4 [Blu-Ray Rips] files into .AVI's for use on the xbox. Great program, thank you.
