Passage 3 is a game styled after dominoes, Tetris, solitaire, and Scrabble with 800-by-600-pixel resolution and high-color graphics (see screen shot). The player is to place the tiles on the board according to a certain pattern. Tiles played must match the neighboring tiles in color or symbol. There are four different game variations that Gekko Software has developed out of this basic principle. Also, there are four different themes, each with different tile sets. Players can automatically upload their high scores to the main home page's high score contest. There is an introduction to the game with spoken rules, tips, and a choice of ten soundtracks (using DirectMusic).

The beautifully rendered graphics and simplicity of this game makes it great. Players can jump right in, and the verbal instructions will guide them to success in moments. This version has new game-variations (new limit-mode) and four completely new graphics motifs so that you can choose from eight different themes in the game. This download is a 16-level trial. Registration of Passage 3 with all the graphic motifs costs $16.99.

Some players may prefer to download a smaller demo (3.7MB)instead. The file comes with only one graphic motif, but additionalgraphics motifs may be downloaded from Gekko Software.
