"Bare Bones Scan and Organize Application"
Pros
Handy for scanning all your receipts and paper documents and putting them into a database for easy searching.
Cons
Has some logistical issues with the user interface. Separate windows for receipts and for all other documents is too arbitrary and limiting. There is no way to edit smart collections once they have been created.
Summary
Needs a redesigned user interface. Price is too steep for the minimal functionality provided.

Paperless 2.0 takes care of this and add's some really wonderful new features. I suggest you give it a try, well worth the upgrade IMO.

Thanks for trying Paperless. A couple things of note. You mention you can't edit Smart Collections, actually you can. Double-clicking on the Smart Collection icon will bring up the parameters.
Keep an eye out for Paperless 2.0 next quarter. This is a MAJOR revision, both UI-wise and in terms of functionality.
