The programme helped me recover a folder i deleted by mistake from my desktop. I have tried other programmes some of which require payment to recover my lost details but were not as effective as this. I highly recommend this to any one contemplating of downloading it.

very happy with Pandora. I lost 14.94GB of photos from my sd card and with the exception of some video and a few corrupted files...I got back over 13GB of files/images.

Tried this software--Pandora Recovery (free)--and Adroit Photo Recovery ($19.99) tool. If JPGs are all you need, you can opt for this freeware. Adroit recovers both JPGs AND camera raw files. If camera raw files are important to you, definitely worth the small price for that software. Sadly, neither software recovered my movie files. Adroit actually shows how many files are fully recovered and partially recovered whereas Pandora Recovery only shows what's recovered.
Cons
Movie files were NOT recovered. One small JPG thumbnail recovered for each movie file that was previously there. But they didn't claim to recover movies. I'm listing this as a con just so you'll know not to expect it.

I accidentally deleted all files from my thanksgiving trip on my SD card... er, definitely HUMAN ERROR is to blame. (Sigh) I'm supposed to KNOW better!
TIPS if this happens to you too: The key to a successful recovery is NOT to take new pictures into the memory card. Lock the card as soon as you realize the mistake. Run a recovery tool and DO NOT recover back to the same disk you're recovering from. By the way, DO NOT use your camera menu to delete files. Sort through your photos later after you've transferred files to your computer. You run the risk of corrupting and deleting all files!
