Very disappointing...
Install was Ok; it downloaded required files and all and started an auto scan. Well, it did catch and remove the viruses I knew were there on my system. But that is where it all ended.
After the restart, I was back at my desktop as usual. Opened My Computer and right clicked to do something. The next 10 minutes were spent waiting for the right click menu to appear. Had no option but to cold boot. Tried a number of times with the same result. Every time I performed some action, my system was gone and each time the CPU usage was way above normal. After disabling Panda, I checked my logs and found that Panda was hogging more than 70% of the CPU. Ultimately uninstalled Panda and my system was back to normal.
I was expecting a lot from this software but it was clear that it does have CPU issues. I have a 3.3 Ghz P4 processor, 2GB RAM, 320 GB HDD, a 2 Mbps broadband connection and have installed almost all anti virus softwares under the sun without anything slowing down my system significantly. And I certainly did not expect a could based, lightweight anti virus would bring my system down.
Hope Panda's dev team addresses these issues as I would love to try it once again!
