After the initial install, it requires a login to the Panda site before actually starting up. This is after I un-installed a previous AV soft, as Cloud would not install otherwise. Problem is, their web site was apparently not operating correctly, as I would fill out the form, (email address, password) only to have the fields blank out with nothing happening. On the third try, it said something about server error. Anyway, if their server is having a tough time now, how often is it not going to be there when needed? It further irritated me that all this was done online with no AV protection whatsoever, since, as said before, I had to un-install my other AV.
Anyway, if you're using one of the big three free AV clients, don't bother with this one. -

Fast and very user-friendly, my non-techy Mom can even use it. Doesn't gobble up much resources and detects most threats.

Misses relatively new threats and the cloud architecture requires users to stay on the Internet all the time.

What I really liked about CloudAV is that it's so easy to install, so easy to use, and was able to detect viruses that Kaspersky and Malwarebytes missed after a full scan. I have a very busy system that runs CG, photo and video editing programs. CloudAV can run a full scan while I'm running these programs and it didn't slow my system down.
However, it was just so disappointing that it failed to detect trojans that I'm not sure were new (maybe they are but CloudAV just missed it). I guessed these malwares came from other computers connected to our network (I'm working at a TV station that implements Symantec Endpoint that sucked big time so I uninstalled it =__=). Maybe I should've installed a third party firewall or that Cloud should've attached a firewall with it.
Also, it's problematic if I'm not connected to the Internet while scanning a flash drive. CloudAV claims to detect threats while disconnected from the Internet but it didn't. And I was just out of the net for a day.
I'm willing to give CloudAV another try but for now, if you guys are planning to install it, make sure you have a good firewall application installed. -

no advanced settings... there are some programs that i want it to allow to run and i dont have the option of telling it that i know what that program is doing and i want it to run

a good antivirus for people that dont know what they are doing with a computer but if you know even a little bit and want programs to run this isnt a good antivirus for you. i know what programs on my computer i want to run.. messing them up by saying that a file format is unknown is not in anyway a good thing.

Somethimes the ikon shows that the AV is off..when it`s on. I just have to click on it and it chances to "on"
