"Warning - There is a malware link in this review"
Version: Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 2.1.1
Pros
In this review there is a redirect to a fake flash player, Look ar the highlighted "AV-Compiritives" - if you click on that, it will lead you to the malware link. It is a misspelling of AV-Comparatives.org which is a legit site which reviews antivirus software.
Cons
This is a warning about a poison link in this CNET article and nothing to do with Panda Free.
Summary
Kind of surprised CNET has a poison link in it's article and has not even noticed it. Hey, Seth - how about removing it???
Fixed malware redirect Many 13. Thanks, Seth!

"Doesn't bother me"
Version: Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 2.1.1
Pros
It never gets in my way. It does what it says, is quick and easy. And good. And it ties with MS firewall. Fast, light footprint, stops almost everything . . . what else could you want
Cons
None on Win XP, 7 & 8
Summary
The less interference I get, the happier I am. I don't need to see every little bug. My attitude is impress me by doing the job. Panda free impresses me

"Wait and see."
Version: Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 2.1
Pros
Easy to set up. Seems like a good idea.
Cons
I had panda a while back and it stopped working and i never got an email or anything,so i dont know how long that was going on.
I just started using it again, now the free version is requesting money for my service to keep going? I havent had much luck with any anti virus or malware programs.I was using zone alarm and spybot showed almost one hundred adware and a few malware on it.AVG missed stuff also.Summary
Good luck! check your system once in awhile to see if anything is getting by your anti virus.Panda runs nicely in the back ground and unless you check it,youll never know it stopped working. And for how long.I have had luck with spybot finding stuff the others miss.

"Stay away from this AV,"
Version: Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 2.1
Pros
Automatic updates
Cons
Does not stop viruses.
Tech support is worthless.Summary
I installed Panda Cloud AV Pro. I found two infected files during it's initial scan. I called Panda tech support who directed me to a another company that charged me $130 to clean my system. Within a month my system began running slow, so I ran the virus scan and it showed up clean -- no infected files. So, I uninstalled Panda and installed Avast Free AV. Avast's intitial scan found and removed NINE infected files. I called Panda Tech Support to report the findings and their responce was "well, we can't stop everything!" HUH!?

"Product Description Sounded Great, EXCEPT ..."
Version: Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 2.0
Pros
Seemed to download alright ... But then ...
Cons
After several attempts, several ways, wouldn't install after download. Didn't see any instruction to help in advance of install, nor were any error messages nor info provided with or after download to clue one in as to the problem, or setting change necessary, or compatibility issue, or if a virus already on my system compromised the installation of any new anti-virus software!
So, gave up, did several on-line scans, then downloaded TrendMicro products.
Bottom Line? "Windows Security" is an oxymoron! When an e-mail can halt your system protection or stop it from loading at next boot, & with software never up to speed in fixing Windows ORIGINAL bugs, + all created by their patches & "HotFixes" ... plus the lag-time in every other ancillary program, plug-in, extension, etc. that also needs changing or upgraded whenever other programming changes; well, who needs it?!
No sense supporting people & products that disrespect our time, resources, assets!
Bought an iMac!Summary
The Panda Products I tried to download just never had the chance to work ... and it;s likely a MS/Windows problem for which Panda didn't compensate ... So, I quit trying.
And after almost 25 years of Beta Testing & invitation to evaluate, report, opine and brainstorm with and for them in both the capacity of individual consumer and business customer/user (PLUS, I'm an MS Stock Holder ... for the moment), I'm suspending support and purchasing of any MS or Windows Products (& the multitude of bugs at time of the version's rushed release, or "built-in" to ensure limited product shelf-life!
Why buy (or keep ... or keep buying!) any product or service that DOESN"T WORK?? If it's flawed or incomplete or vulnerable or will be "unsupported", or billed as automated or "Secure", then isn't (or doesn't KEEP you so) then we didn't buy what we were sold, did we?
Instead, we were sold a VERY limited license for limited use of promised (but nut ever fully delivered) goods or services!
They need to just DISCLOSE that said products either ABSOLUTELY require renewal software subscriptions & eventual hardware replacement ... or a specified date of expiration (like a NON-RELOADABLE Cash Card or Cell Phone, etc.!) At least we could factor that in when buying .... or deciding NOT to buy!
Until then, every company offering products, goods (hard or soft) and/or services connected to MicroSoft and/or Windows, will be just as tenuous.
And that's just bad business, but in any event, if you're NOT going to DE-BUG every failing of Windows Products when releasing your own, well ...
From your product's start, you're not even offering adequate "Security", Panda!
