    "Bad management"

by daytraderNY on February 27, 2005

    Pros: Free.

Cons: Would be a good chat program if Paltalk didn't allow people to bounce, kick and ban users out of chat rooms for no reason. Nice people are getting their feelings hurt and causing hostility among strangers. Causing fights and anger. Yahoo chat is popular and they don't allow people to be kicked out for no reason. Paltalk needs to alter their software and fix it to allow the chat group to have an ignore feature for the person they don't want to listen to,instead of banning that person from the chat room. Also, Paltalk needs to have a major meeting with their paid red admins. Because there are a few of these paid red admins that should not be employed there. They are cruel, mean, and mentally and verbally disrespectful. AdminD never answers emails. Medianoche, Miss Purrrr are both red paid admins who are very creul, mean, impolite, and just horrible people. They ban Paltalk customers for no reason. They do whatever they want and because of it, Paltalk is getting a bad reputation. Paltalk would be a nice place if they had better red admins.

I've been on Paltalk for years and it seems to me that ladies who show some goodies can be admins in two weeks or less and guys that deejay good can be admins in less than a month. Do you know how embarrassing it is to get booted by an admin on the rag who's only been around for two weeks

and you've been hanging out in a room for three years and won't be selected to be an admin cause you're old, you lost all you teeth in a car crash and can't afford new ones cause the motorist that caused the crash was uninsured, and you're fat and far from being what the ladies would call eye candy. So maybe I'm lucky they let me hang out at all, but if I can shell out $39 bucks or more for a nic every year you would think I'd have some seniority over a buxom lass that has a fine set of twins. It ain't fair. So, how about giving a guy a chance to admin just on the basis of seniority if nothing else?

I have been astonished by some of the users and admin members for this service. I havent used it since i entered a room which was packed full of people expressing genocidal fascist and rasist opions against all muslims in the world. Someone needs to monitor this service as i fear it is a breading ground for racial tensions. Enough to say that i expressed my concerns directly to the members of this group only to be kicked out and banned. You find other groups are just full of people on a power trip and seem mentally disturbed to say the least. Its a shame because i did find a number of good groups particulary the real time quiz groups which "burn your fingers" in the attempt to be first to answer. But generally it is severley spoilt by what is a power hungry egotistical and somewhat disturbed minority. If you do use PalTalk try to stick to European, Canadian or Asia / Australasia based groups, overall they seem a safer more entertaining choice than groups from other parts and remember if the room has a non adult rating do not even think about suggesting or implying any form of adult referances as big brother will ban you from the group no questions asked!!! To these people i say "get a life".

PS if you need an example of the admin attitude just read the reply before this - need i say more?

I can only wonder if you're not banned and for what reason.

PalTalk has rules to go by, Terms Of Service. If you bothered to read them and abide by them, you wouldn't be saying that.

Which is all lies, anyway, basicly!

What you said in your "cons" section is 100% true. I don't use Paltalk much for that reason. There was a room with the title "Friendliest people". I went in and was booted within 2 min. This is friendly?!?!?
