    Version: Paint Shop Pro 10.0

    "The best PSP yet"

by zridling on September 15, 2005

Pros: If you're not using Photoshop and you're an advanced user, you will really want to use Paint Shop Pro X. If you're new to it, you must immerse yourself in its interface and study the Help file for a while, but it will be time well spent. Paint Shop Pro X will let you do virtually anything you can imagine. Better, you can now do some truly sophicated correction and enhancement work with this version. Another thing is that I was surprised Corel kept the price down. That's good!

Cons: If you're new, the learning curve is quite steep, and its text feature, while flexible, is aggravating to use.

    Version: Paint Shop Pro XI

    "Great!"

    by download-junkie on October 11, 2006

Pros: A great program to use to make, edit and correct graphics and images. Althought this isn't my favorite version of PSP, it's still a good one... any version from 7+ is great! This one is a bit tricky to use, but you'll get used to it after a while and much practice with it.

Cons: Only a 30-day trial. A bit tricky for the novice with PSP, but, a great program!

    Version: Paint Shop Pro X2

    "Way above my head."

    by john3347 on December 23, 2007

Pros: Must be very good software because all the professional egg-heads say so.

Cons: Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy above ordinary people's head. Cannot even figure how to get started doing anything with all the clutter on the screen when I open the program. Very complicated! I would be in total awe of anyone that can master this program simply because of all the information that they have to be processing in their head just to utilize the features of this program. I think I did figure how to use the red-eye repair feature and the eyes turned pitch black. Had to go to Faststone Image Viewer to correct the red-eye. Program is JUNK for normal people. I will not be buying this program.
