Version: Paint.NET 3.31
"It's not Paint Shop Pro, it's better!"
Pros: It's better because of it's simplicity and because it's free. It does whet I was hoping it would. In combination with Image Mender (offered here), I can easily mend, touch up, modify and repair my digital photos and wallpapers.
Cons: No cons. It's great for an old man who has difficulty figuring out complicated programs. Does what I need.

It's easier, especially for a simple minded old man like me. Better was not a good word in this case.

The programme is intuitive, excellent but one more thing I would like to see in its tool list and that is a "Spray" colouring tool. This is very helpful for painting Clouds and also for removing background around a persons hairy head as it softens the area against the hair mass. I give it 5 stars

It is easier than PSP, but PSP has more features. You can compare PSP to Adobe Photoshop, which you cannot honestly do with Paint.NET.
