Would like a better image outliner. Something like dropping a image into a background, like a person's picture into a scene. Even the transparency could be improved and even a little how to, would make it even better.

A really good and useful free program with a lot of features
Nice easy to use interface with a very good selection of tools and effects.
Perfect if you want to tweak photos, it has good contrast/brightness and levels tools etc. a clone tool (similar to photoshop), crop, rotate etc.
There is a plugin color balance tool as well as many other plugins also available.
When they have custom brushes added (soon) this will do everything I ever used photoshop for!
Cons
If there was a custom brush or soft edge brush this would do everything I wanted - I believe this is planned for version 4.0

Easy to use-quick to learn and vise versa. Does nearly everything I need it to do and well. I've created many graphics using Paint.NET and it's been awesome. MonthsForever.blogspot.com

Although it's awesome and good, it does need more tools such as rounded rectangle select tool and blur tool, for example.
