"It is NOT FREE"
Version: PacketTrap pt360 ToolSuite Pro 2.2.5
Pros
Nothing. It is really really bad.
Cons
If they can't list it honestly then they might not be honest.
Summary
Avoid scammers and spammers, and don't download a "free" product that is really a 7 day trial. They know the rules, they know the proper listing, so deceivers will be punished with bad reviews.

"pt360 is nice but..."
Version: PacketTrap pt360 ToolSuite Pro 2.2
Cons
It is ultimately not a free tool. Like most downloadable tools after the trial period expires, it goes to limited functionality unless you purchase/register. Also asks you to register your email address and a password (reasons unknown.)

"Cisco and Syslog Server, UI improvements... The new version is AWESOME"
Version: PacketTrap pt360 ToolSuite Pro 1.1
Pros
I tried the previous version and really liked the combination of tools and dashboard in a single interface. The 1.1 version adds a very robust Cisco configuration tool (download, edit, compare, archive, etc) and a very nice Syslog server. These new tools are wrapped inside a greatly improved UI. The dashboard has a bunch of new gadgets to allow monitoring network utilization and other metrics that were not in the 1.0 version. All in all this is an impressive product and should be on every network administrator's desktop...

"great product"
Version: PacketTrap pt360 ToolSuite Pro 1.0.2384
Pros
Excellent design and execution ? eliminates a lot of uneeded bells/whistles. PT360 is already close to providing what most data centers need for network monitoring and troubleshooting without demanding additional cost for uneeded capabilities. I would highly recommend this product for usage at the help desk level for proper tier support determination. It baffles me that no one has been able to consolidate usable network tools like this before.
Cons
Needs notification features

"Good upgrade, on the right track."
Version: PacketTrap pt360 ToolSuite Pro 1.0.2384
Pros
The new version seems more efficient on larger networks. Just ran the SNMP scan across about 1,000 nodes without a problem. The dashboard is kickass.
Cons
Same as before. They need to add more dashboard gadgets such as Network Utilization.

"Interesting Freebie"
Version: PacketTrap pt360 ToolSuite Pro 1.0.2384
Pros
I downloaded originally because I needed a quick way to scan ports on a subnet, but I was intrigued enough to run an SNMP scan and then I set up a few gauges to monitor some routers and switches. The dashboard is a little different than anything else I know of and it can tell me at a glance if an endpoint is overloaded. The port scan worked fine also, by the way.
Cons
I would like to have the tabs rotate so I don't have to click between dashboard tabs. I would also like to see bandwidth utilization gadgets. Otherwise, for free no complaints.

"Simple, Easy To Use, Useful Tools..."
Version: PacketTrap pt360 ToolSuite Pro 1.0.2384
Pros
I really like the dashboard. We are going to buy a nice monitor that we can use to display the status of our network at all times. Love the individual tools... I really like being able to take results from one tool and pipe them to another tool. Can't do that with command line tools very easily. Check out their webinars, they have some cool features coming in the next release too...
