"Incredible PHP scripting"
Version: PHPRunner 6.1 build 11660
Pros
Do not have to know PHP, it works with many different types of databases, it is very flexible in which pages to generate, how to layout the pages, which database fields to include, which to show, levels of security, the support is great with very little turn around time.
Cons
It is hard to change the styles to match the web pages that are not generated by the software.
Summary
I've used this product for 5 years now. I knew nothing about php [and still don't know much] when I first purchased it but was able to do my project within a matter of hours and have it up and running. It is very user friendly. My first project was a searchable database for dog pedigrees. I often get comments that mine is the best available on the net because of the ease of searching it and the professional looking pages. I don't know if it's OK to show one of my sites but here is an example - BrookHill Labradors.

"Excellent PHP IDE with strong features and support"

Pros
HTML templates, full features for DB applications including add / edit / delete / master/detail / AJAX searching lists, charts and custom reports, plus a static or customized user authentication mechanism. PHP openness and easily customizable
Cons
GUI's editor needs some improvements. Having to build everything all over again for large projects, even if only one file is altered. Missing of some Web 2.0 features like Grid, buttons, Ribbons.
Summary
PHPR is an excellent choice if you need a development tool with an integrated environment for HTML, javascript, and server side PHP. It provides ready to use templates and functionality for database development. The support is awesome and they are heavily developing towards a more robust and fully featured environment.
