PE Explorer makes it easy to view, analyze and edit win32 executable files. It offers a thorough look at PE file structure and all of the resources in the file, and tells you just about every little detail you could possibly want to know about a PE file (EXE, DLL, ActiveX, and other executable formats). PE Explorer comes with a Visual Resource Editor, PE Header Viewer, UPX Unpacker, Exported and Imported API Function Viewer and Syntax Lookup, Dependency Scanner, and a powerful win32 Disassembler.

Once inside, file structure can be analyzed and optimized, problems diagnosed, changes made and resources repaired. Leveraging the power of PE Explorer Disassembler, you can rapidly analyze the procedures and libraries a malware executable uses without ever activating the executable itself. Version 1.99 includes a Digital Signature Viewer and the ability to mark pre-Vista applications with a requested execution level, providing the way to deploy the same build of the application on both Windows Vista and Windows XP.
