Version: PDFill PDF Tools Free 6.0
"Best FREE PDF manipulation software out there!"
Pros: You can do 90% of the things you would ever actually use Acrobat to do for FREE, such as creating, merging, splitting, rearranging PDF's, and more. Did I mention it's FREE?
Cons: Once again, this is FREE for almost all the tools the overwhelming majority of people will ever need. However, it is NOT as powerful as Acrobat. If you need more horsepower, you will need to spend some $$$.
Summary: This program was a great find for me. I have been checking out FREE PDF solutions for a while because I need to manipulate PDS's on 4 separate personal computers (I'm an IT student). I have Nuance's PDF Converter, which I bought a while ago, for any highly sophisticated work, but I have found that PDFill meets my needs 90+ % of the time. I recommend using the FREE, and super fast, PDF-XChange viewer. I have found it is by far the fastest PDF viewer out there. It makes Adobe reader seem like a dying slug. The combo of PDFill and PDF-XChange should meet your needs unless you are doing DTP.
