    "Horrible waste of time."

    May 7, 2012  |   By jkibeck

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

If the watermarks wern't there it might be useful.

    Cons

What is the point of advertising as free software when the output is unusable n any meaningful form? The watermarks used on the 'free' version forces you to buy the paid version if you want to use it for anything other than your own viewing.

    Summary

    Don't waste your time.

"Tries to install other programs, free version useless"

    May 2, 2012  |   By souldonut76

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

It's exactly like Acrobat, without being Acrobat

    Cons

Tries to install other programs, and is persistent about it, doesn't even ask, you have to catch them and manually hit cancel on the dialog to stop it. Bad manners PDFill.

You still have to pay for it, Otherwise it puts huge obtrusive watermarks on your output. Don't bother unless you're going to pay for the full version, in which case you should just get Acrobat and skip this. You'll get more support that way.

    Summary

No idea how this got so many good reviews.

"Ace software. Brilliant support as well!!"

    April 25, 2012  |   By ChickenBumFace

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

Tons of features, had an enquiry and sent an email, not really expecting much of a response. Got an answer within a couple of hours and you can't ask for better than that. There has been some complaints about the $20 license fee, but I honestly think it's worth every penny.

This software has saved me hours of time, and it's not too difficult to get your head around. Would thoroughly recommend it.

    Cons

Only con I can see is that the help files are not too good. If they brushed up on them it would be better. Toolbars are a bit cluttered, but to be honest that is just me being a bit 'picky'

    Summary

Great piece of kit. Quick to run and has more options than you could shake a stick at. Well worth the $20 fee. Great IT support as well.

Can't praise it highly enough. Use it nearly every day, saves me time and effort. Really like it (can you tell?)

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

Software is great for editing and creating pdf's. I have used it to edit documents for work since no one seems to have access to a pdf editor. After alot of research I was unable to locate something so reasonable and could complete what I needed for pdf's

    Cons

None for me does everything I need

    "Incompatible with Adobe Reader X"

    March 15, 2012  |   By FritzyFritz

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

Seems to create PDF's quickly. Editing tools are great - you can draw arrows, circle things and re-save as new PDF. Price is definitely right.

    Cons

I had been using Adobe Reader X on my brand-new work computer to open and print hard copies of PDFs (onto a BizHub). I had only needed to PDF documents out of Word and Excel, which are built into the programs, so I wasn't sure I'd need a PDF writer. Then I found the need to create a PDF of an income statement from QuickBooks (no built-in PDF creator). I downloaded the trial version of PDFill and it created the PDF. I could open it, but when I went to print a hard copy for my file, it opened it in Adobe X Reader. No biggie, right?, just print it from Adobe. However, when selecting anything to do with Print in Adobe, it would close Adobe Reader. Even PDFs that were not created by PDFill. So I uninstalled PDFill and wouldn't you know it, I could print PDF's again from Adobe Reader X. My guess is Adobe is pissed about the price point of PDFill and has built in a "bug" to not allow users to print from Adobe Reader X if they have PDFill installed on their machines. Not good.

    Summary

Works great if you just want to PDF a document and view it on your screen, but if you want to print a hard copy of that PDF, forget it. PDFill doesn't seem to be able to print unless it's through a PDF reader like Adobe Reader X and when I tried to print from Adobe, it would shut down the Adobe, no print.

"Only imbeciles will complain, it's superb"

    March 10, 2012  |   By EddyJawedx

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

Don't know why they didn't mention it, but it also decrypted a stubborn pdf form that it's wise guy creator decided to password protect. Editing was a breeze and after checking the free trial i brought the software at a very reasonable price. This software was a LIFE SAVER, and I don't expect it to be totally free - so all these clowns complaining about a watermark should have their reviews removed as they don't seem to understand that you have to pay people for their hard work!

    Cons

    There are none!

    Summary

This is the all in one solution, whether you are trying to decrypt or edit a PDF file thats password protected. In my case I was creating software using the ITextSharp.dll which would help me communicate with some British Government based legal PDF forms that were all password protected for some awkward reason. The encryption got in the way and I searched all day for some decent software to remove it. Many vendors charging through the roof and not producing the results. Some decrypted the orignal pdf form only to convert it to a basic pdf page with lost interaction of the text boxes etc.

So be careful theres a lot of con artists out there that are no where near the equivalent of this stunning app. Well done PDFill!

"How did I ever live without it?"

    March 6, 2012  |   By bci4us

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

Easy to use. I can scan any form and fill it out in neat, typewritten words instead of my sad printing. If you mess up, you white it out and re-enter the information

    Cons

    I haven't found one yet.

    Summary

The secretary at one of our client's offices introduced me to PDFill and did me a huge favor! I have used this tool repeatedly, almost on a daily basis. Our office was destroyed by fire in December and PDFill is one of the first products that we're replacing. Best $20 we've spent. A great value!

Version: PDFill PDF Editor 9.0 Build 9

    Pros

Too many to list here. Easy to: load, use and get help. Does everything I wanted to do. Edit, add pics, copy, paste, cover up text with new or blank, add check boxes, sig boxes this thing is wonderful.

    Cons

    Have not found any.

    Summary

Have used for about a yr I think. Have always gotten a response via email for help when RARELY needed (my own issues not the program) Does way more things than I ever needed or will need. I only do basic, create pdf from other programs print command. Also edit my credit card statement to add text for ea. charge. Also add signitures for things like contracts via jpg pic. I purchased about in begin of 2011 (I think it was) have never had a problem.
