Will NOT create a protection-free version of a encrypted PDF file as it states it will. Very disappointing, as a result I'll only give it 1 star.

would not decrypt PDFs (which is what I wanted it for) Kept telling me that the PDF reader couldn't be opened ...

Pros
I hated all those years of Acrobat growing fatter and slower so I chucked it for
PDF-Xchange Viewer (free)
plus this program
and doPDF (print driver)
Result: All the power of Acrobat at 1/20th the size.
Cons
Nothing really. Perhaps an autoupdate but that's getting picky.

Pros
I did not explore it deep enough to comment. Basic no nonsense external operations - does not appear to open any documents for viewing. Simply encrypts, splits, joins, etc. which is what it says it does.
